The History of Bach Rescura®
Our Rescura® range combines five Bach® Original Flower Essences, all of which come from Dr Bach's original gardens at his home in Oxfordshire.
History Of Rescura Remedy®
Edward Bach (1886-1936) was a renowned researcher and one of the first doctors to recognize the influence of mental and emotional health on physical well-being in the 1930s. He personally believed that attitude and mental state play a fundamental role in maintaining one's health - an idea that modern medicine has only adopted in recent decades.
From that point on, he dedicated his life to exploring this connection to find ways to help people. In the early 1930s, Edward Bach's research led to the identification of 38 different flower essences. These same essences are still used in Bach Rescura® products today.
In order to make these essences available to the general public, Edward Bach sought the support of Nelson's Homeopathic Pharmacy in London. Under his guidance, the essences he provided were sold there. Today, Nelson's produces millions of bottles of the original Bach® flower mixture for sale worldwide.
How Rescura Remedy® is made
The flower essences are still sourced from plants grown at Dr. Bach’s former home in Mount Vernon, Oxfordshire. They are then sent to London where they are diluted and bottled to the highest quality standards.
Rescura Remedy® is still made using the original methods developed by Dr Bach over 80 years ago. The original Dr Bach signature is a guarantee that our essences are made in the way he intended. Rescura Remedy® can be taken alongside any of the other 38 essences. Rescura Remedy® is specially blended from five individual flower essences:
