Rich Heritage
In 1860, a young pharmacist travels to London to spread the word about homeopathy, founding Nelsons® the same year. The world may have changed significantly since then, but we remain dedicated to one ambition: showing how natural remedies and therapies can help people lead happy and healthy lives.
Quality standards
Healthcare Manufacturing Quality and Health & Safety
Nelsons® operates a 21CFR part 211/ EU cGMP compliant Quality Management System (QMS) across the manufacturing and supply organisation. Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) is standard in our manufacturing and laboratory facilities in Wimbledon, London and Snowdonia, Wales.
Nelsons® invests in quality oversight with key suppliers and third party manufacturers, to ensure our quality standards are met, and formally managed through our Quality and Technical Agreements (QTAs).
Nelsons® is routinely inspected against these requirements by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Nelsons® has a professional Regulatory Operations’ team ensuring regulatory compliance and supporting its homeopathic and herbal Marketing Authorisations (MAs) worldwide.
